Mini Cooper Victory Tribute Monte Carlo 1965
A Tribute to the Mini Cooper S Victory at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rallye.
This fine (32 single yarn), soft "Euro Fit" 100% Cotton T ShIrt was created from an original work of art by Nicolas Hunziker, Automotive Fine Art. The T Shirt honoring this victory captures the extreme weather showing the winning Mini Cooper blasting through the snow.
This little economy car was driven to its first win in1962 by Pat Moss, sister of Sir Stirling Moss. The Mini Cooper S won 153 Rallies that year. The years 1964 through 1967 solidified the Mini Coopers competition credentials. In the 1967 rally, Rauno Aaltonen and Liddon made it an official third victory for the Mini team. Except for a dubious disqualification in 1966 with Mini Coopers finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd, for apparent breaches of headlamp regulations it would have been four out of four.
