This large-format book comes with three audio CDs of sounds and music. The first disc, includes recordings of the engine sounds of 30 historic cars, from 356 Roadster through the Panamera Turbo. The other two CDs set the mood through music: 11 tracks of turbo-inspired rock by Deep Purple, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon and others, and a more soothing soundtrack from a wide range of classical composers.
The book’s strong graphic design and accompanying soundtrack evokes the particular style of each car’s era. Presented in German and English, the text includes chapters covering major models such as the 356 and 911, as well as other cars introduced in the 1970s through the present day.
